The school day

At Lapage, we want every child to feel welcome, included and ready to learn. Arriving on time helps children feel part of their class, connect with friends and enjoy the start of the school day.

School opens at 8.20 am and closes at 3.00 pm (3.15 pm for Nursery afternoon children), providing 32.5 hours of education each week.

Registration closes at 8.50 am. Arrivals after this time are recorded as late, while arrivals after 9.00 am receive a U mark, recorded as an unauthorised absence.

We ask parents and carers to support children to arrive and be collected on time. Together, we can help every child feel they belong and are ready to flourish and achieve.
