Ofsted and performance

Lapage Primary School and Nursery was subject to an ungraded inspection on 3 and 4 June 2025. Following this inspection, Ofsted confirmed that the school has taken effective action to maintain the high standards identified at its previous inspection. Lapage continues to be judged a Good school.

  • “Pupils are provided with an extensive offer of enrichment and extra-curricular opportunities, becoming responsible, respectful and active citizens.”

  • “Leaders, including governors and trustees, are ambitious for the school’s future, and staff feel supported and valued.”

This inspection demonstrates that Lapage continues to provide a safe, nurturing, and ambitious learning environment, ensuring pupils are well prepared for their next steps both academically and personally.
